Big Wheel — Mix, Meet & Sing
THIS EVEN HAS BEEN UPDATED!
The original location for this Big Wheel was slated to be at Peace Arch Park due to its representation of cross border harmony but after a visit to the venue, we decided that we would like to have you all focus more on jamming together rather than what lines to cross or not cross. Because of that we have moved the location to:
SUNSHINE HILLS CHURCH (same location as the past several events) 6749 120 St, Delta BC V4E 2A7
The time will be from Noon until 5:00 (instead of 6) and there will be a few differences that you can note below.
Mainly:
1. There is no longer an opportunity to cook food at the venue so all dishes that need to be heated must be precooked and kept warm with either a crock pot or heating plate
2. The venue does not allow a BYOB situation so feel free to bring any non-alcoholic drinks that you would like to consume

ORDER OF EVENTS:
12:00 The Semi-Great Chili Cookoff!!
- Feel free to arrive any time between 11:00 -12:00 if you want some extra time to set up your dishes. Please send a message to [email protected] if you have something you would like to bring to help feed the masses!
12:30 The Feast and Welcome Schpiel!
- Eat, Drink and be merry! Bring some snack to share if you feel so inclined!
1:00 Tag Time
- learn a couple of quick and easy tags to help get the ball rolling in the next time block!
1:30 Find your Quartets and rehearse!
- try to keep the amount of quartets you are in to 4 at most but the goal is to get the most people singing at least once, so if that means your services are needed to make that happen then by all means!
3:00 Official Big Wheel Competition!!
4:00 Parade of Choruses
- Every chorus represented gets the chance to share a song or two with the whole group!
4:30 Awarding of the Trophies!
5:00 Big Wheel official ends - Time to clean up
6:00 everything must be cleaned up and ready for them to lock the door
